HiIs anyone using Lignosus Rhinocerotis the "Tiger Milk" mushrooms ?

There seems to be evidence it reduces inflammation in respiratory systems but wanted to know if anyone has found it helpful with copd.?

Thanks

I recall previous post on this, you may find them by using the search bar and there's one on cordless & magic mushrooms in 'Related Posts'

Only what I find sometimes on the Related Posts or old post & replies because they're all still here (unlike Littlepom's, sadly 😢 ) ××

Well actually Littlepom 's are still here but her avatar is now 'Hidden' ×

like all “natural/homeopathic” remedies there is limited scientific proof that they actually work but as long as they are not harmful and they make you feel better then thats what counts. Just be careful of what you try and beware of any advertised benefits and high prices. I have emphysema and Aspergillosis and have been prescribed a low dose of Oramorph for the breathlessness which I find helps, doesn’t stop it but just reduces it a bit

There's published papers on reduced inflammation response using them . Quite a few papers,. And it does seem to support improved respiratory function. Hence the quizzing .

I also have COPD, and saw articles about these mushrooms and decided to give them a go. Personally, I found a decrease in the cough and sputum production within about two weeks. It does not cure the breathlessness but I found a slight improvement and felt some benefit. I am on month 4 of taking them now.

I have been taking lignosus for four months (I have HIB, bronchiectasis and possibly long covid). I am taking azithromysin and carbosisteine as well. I can currently breathe ok most of the day, with a couple of bouts of extreme breathlessness and wheezing in the evening.

The problem always is: if I wasn't taking the Lignosus, would I be worse? It certainly hadn't cured me, though.

no idea! I would suggest Googling it! Then with more info you might be able to make a decision.

Good luck!

Yeah I've read a few of the published papers but there's nothing better than hearing it straight from people who have actually used it hence the question. Most of the papers deal with the lungs of rats etc !
