Diagnosis

This is my 4th week in hospital. I’ve had 3 chest x-rays, ct scans and mris of all the bony bits of my body to try and find the source of infection that was showing with spikes in temperature, they told me I’ve got pneumonia!

I hope you’ll soon be on the mend, but I can’t understand how it’s taken them so long to diagnose pneumonia. Have they given you any explanation?

good that finally have diagnostic, sorry is pneumonia. It’s not nice but with modern medication hopefully you will soon recover. It’s 80 years since I last had it, recall was in bed for several weeks and had kaolin poltices. Best wishes, Jean x

Get well soon. So sorry it's taken so long to get the diagnosis, but now they've pinned down the infection, the doctors should be able to treat it effectively.
