Hi, I don't know what that means although others might. Thank goodness for this referral Hometeam, a good step in finding whats going on or eliminating this possibility.

I can't help, I'm afraid, but a big London hospital sounds good. They will give you a very thorough going over. Trust there really is nothing to worry about.

Doc said nothing to worry about but my oxygen level drops when walking around like now it was 86 sat down purse lip breathing and it’s now 95 it doesn’t stay low for long but when done blood gas test it was 32% should be 80 , I don’t understand it sounds worrying with dropping but doctor said nothing to worry about I think coz heart n lung test was ok

It all sounds very puzzling. I should take a list of questions to ask the team at London. Good luck.

I can’t help with any answers. I go to the Brompton in London and they are brilliant so fingers crossed you will get all the answers there. Take care xx

Its great that you've been referred to a London Hospital. My niece had something similar. She was born with it, but it wasn't diagnosed until she was older, probably as not too bad. She had an operation for it and is completely fine now. I read that babies have this when they are in the womb, as they use the oxygen from the mother's blood, not the lungs. It usually closes over after birth. If you have had this a long time, it probably isn't serious, but needs putting right. I expect you will feel loads better once you have seen the doctor in London.

It's hard not to worry when you are uncertain. Go back to the doctor if you are feeling worse at all, but otherwise try to put it to the back of your mind for now.
