No humidity here, in fact it's cold NW England.

Hampshire need 45 runs to win from 6.1 overs with 4 wickets remaining @ 17:51

Thank's cricket - As a lifelong cricket supporter, I know what frustration means, I take guts plus luck at the end of an innings..

I confess to still smoking - I know it's bad for me, but it has saved me mentally - never quite the right time to give up, but I definitely should!

I console myself by using my short Dunhill holder which takes crystal filters.. they start white & turn to almost black after 20 cigs I have also changed to B&H silver.. hence not too much rubbish going down my lungs..Is that ok? X

After watching my father with emphysema I went to a hypnotherapist, back in 1999. There was no way I wanted to end my days struggling to breathe as he did. I haven’t smoked since then, however, I’d still done enough damage….. asthma, query COPD, heart conditions…. Need I go on?

Hi Adenough, not a smoker so can't confess to that but will confess to wishing I was as upbeat as you are. I try to put on a brave front but inside I'm an anxious, silly old boot. But your upbeat attitude is a tonic. Thank you 😊. (Need to be a bit more que sera sera) xxx

Happy Sunday to you. I envy you the Brazin- I'm currently on medication which says 'no alcohol'. I never smoked for reasons too yukky to explain, so can't give it up. xxx

The no alcohol medicine is called Cinnarizine. It's to help control the dizziness which caused me to fall earlier this year.

Tried that a couple of times but found it not good, I like to see what I’m buying, still manage to go when I can & find the staff at Waitrose are very helpful.. Got to keep going as long as I can xx
