Mindfulness etc for managing breathlessness

Thank you so much everyone who responded to my question about whether or not you had been offered this as a form of therapy to help.

It is very heartwarming to read and that many of you have found Yoga or Tai Chi or Pilates helpful even though you have had to access it privately.

Personally I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 30 or so years and still find them very helpful in managing the mind better and stretching out the body. Locally we are fortunate enough to have a PR maintenance class online every week and all that body mind support is such a help.

Toodle pip.

I am starting yoga very soon . I have done it previously so I am hoping my pulmonary fibrosis doesn’t get in the way . I’m also going to try Pilates 😳, not so sure about it though.

I love mindfulness just don’t do it very often, it definitely calms the mind . I have a app on my Apple Watch , it reminds me to do mindfulness daily 😀
