I was going to post some fantasy art or a sunset, but another time.

This painting was from way back, when I was learning to use acrylics paint.

Thank's I used to be a watercolor painter some years ago. Then we was expecting our youngest daughter Victoria late really in our lives, Our income was fine for two of us, but a child? I had to get a job in a plant nursery and hours where long, so no time for painting. I think 3 years ago I resumed but this time with acrylics - This paining was soon after I started painting with a new medium. So a good part of my life I have painted, I am just about an acceptable drawer now, One thing the same all the time I like using bold color.

My older brother used to sketch,just a hobby.since he retired,he paints,some oil,some i thoughht were watercolour but noy sure now x

I used to paint watercolor - Oils I tried but take a long time to dry. It's good your older brother has took painting up.,

Good morning Ern007. That's really good. You are certainly talented and obviously enjoy painting to occupy your mind and the hours in a day. Getting older is no fun when you have health problems that are always going to be there worrying you. Take care and hope you have a good day. Brian

It's strange I always said when i retired I would take up art , I used to draw and paint when young and somehow I just never have time. I am always busy doing something else. Good to see you mastered acrylics x

Strange years ago I painted with watercolors and loved them, had to break a few years then started with Acrylics - Although water in a way they are so different than watercolors, they dry very fast. Now I can imagine being without a brush - BTW this reflections was one of my very first when I restarted painting, x
