Collie or Springer Spaniel poll vote π³ π
A real mix.this isnt yr pup?! X
Yes that's Sadie taken this morning x
Years ago one of my friends had a border collie called Sadie and a black and white cat called Puss!
definitely a spaniel in her she is beautiful
Yes she's a border collie x springer spaniel .. I think more spaniel to π©·π©·
There's a very spoilt mongrel that comes on the bus with its owner for nice walks up near us in the village where we have recently moved to from the city centre!
I don't think the word mongrel is much used these days !
Our ginger tabby Baby is a household moggy!
The back leg stance is Springer, and the face is βcheeky Monkeyβ catch me if u can. π€£π
BERNARDINE π₯°
Definitely I can see bits of both depends what she's doing at the time ...π©·π©·
Collie head and Springer for the rest. Sheβs so sweet. Xxxπ©·β€οΈπ©·
spaniel head but definitely collie body.
when young we usually had collie crosses. One came back from a from a farm in hills above Aberdovey as a puppy,. Sheepdog parents and inherited genes and unfortunately he had wanderlust and kept disappearing and ending up at local police station ( lost dogs were taken to police station then a days) . we had to go and collect him every time..
I'm inclined to agree with you ..I remember lost dogs being taken to the police station.. π₯°
Those ears and nose are spaniel - collies are narrower and more pointed, and they hold their ears differently. But the spaniel element should soften the more obsessive collie drive - but not much ππ
Yes collies noses are long and thin ...she's definitely a spanner face and ears ..Her drive will be worked with we do gun dog training on a Monday evening..
She's a hard little worker π₯°
I have 2 working cockers and usually my sonβs one most days, so my life is dominated by cockers staring at me, waiting for their next walk. They wake with smiles and enthusiasm for every day, which always cheers me up. And keeps me walking π. My house is a damp, muddy hairy mess, but full of love πΎπΎπΎ π₯°
I have about 9 working cockers on my books and walk up to 6 at a time they are the best ever ... love the house description sounds beautiful π
Wow! Thatβs a handful! I hope theyβre happy to come back to you when theyβve checked out all the hedgerows and hole, and flushed every hiding bird ππ. At this time of year I have to check for grass seeds in every nook and cranny on our return, which is a bit of a faff, but cheaper than the vets bills! Sorry, Iβll stop wittering on - enjoy your new pup π₯°
They are never a problem been dog walking for about 7 years now...so know all my dogs moves habits good and bad ...My customers are also great ...
I hate grass seeds with a passion they are so nasty ... my old boy Stan that passed away on the 6 th May was an expert at flushing birds pheasants even up to the last 6 months he was with us he knew exactly where they were...best boy ever ...
Don't forget the water they love also π₯°
Both breeds are good workers, but she wonβt know whether to round βem up or retrieve them. It will be interesting to see which instincts come to the fore. xx
In gun dog training which is just for stimulation purposes she's being trained to retrieve. All be it ,it's only a piece of rabbit fur on a ball ..She was trying to chase the roomba hoover and herd it round a bit but I have stopped that before any behaviour gets obsessive ..its the last thing I want for her ...
Looking forward to her just being her π₯°
Beautiful young dog π. We have a one year old cross spaniel, her father was supposed to be a show spaniel, but we have our doubts lol. She's so full of love and energy we would never change her, she's our furbaby now.
My son has a full collie and when they get together it's frantic fun.
Lesley xx
Thankyou so much..They are such trusting little characters and they have some hilarious moments..
This little ones definitely stole a piece of my heart β€οΈ
springers are really good dogs thou I do prefer my German Shepard! π€ͺ
My GSD lived until 3 days off her 17 th birthday .lost her 12 years ... lost my old cocker 7 weeks ago he was 2 days off his 16 th birthday ..We got Sadie 3 weeks before Stan went to his forever sleep still broken at the moment π₯°
I think more Springer looking in the head. Will have good prey drive for gundog work. Mine are HPRβs and both trained to the whistle from puppies. Good luck with her as she will be very bright and keep you on your toes for sure. She will be a wonderful dog to own.
I use verbal and non verbal communications with her...I can't for love nor money use a whistle ... Her recall is very good and she's great at checking in with you...
Her response to commands is amazing and she's doing way more than her litter sisters who I'm in touch with due to them being rescues...
Her working effort is great also π©·π©·
Sounds like a really good girl, working well for you! Joyful π
Springer, especially that stance. She is lovely
Thankyou she's a good looking lady that's for sure π₯°
Thatβs a springer head on a collie body. Definitely collie length legs. Some people look at molly and see just the collie and others the springer. We had one couple on the beach arguing about it until we told them they were both right. Sheβs a beautiful dog. Should be intelligent too.
Sheβs definitely got a lot of Spaniel in her, sheβs growing so quickly & what a beauty π©·π©·π©·π©·π©·
Thankyou ever so much I see both but definitely more spaniel π©·π©·π©·
Sheβs lovely π₯° how quick they grow.
I think she's Springing her way to your heart lol, she looks a little love x
She's a little darlin but has her moments ...She's a devil when in the mood ... π₯°
Both need exercise and things to do, but great companions
She's well exercised and stimulated... Her company is great π
Thereβs definitely springer spaniel in there. One of my sons has a springer and they are very similar looking
Yes she definitely springer x collie ... I feel more springer though π₯°
Oh lordy! Having looked at other pics I too can see Spaniel in the head and Collie in the body... she is a beautiful creature, I will leave it at that!
She's definitely beautiful I think she knows it to π₯°
Such long legs. Beautiful photo bb xx
Her legs are gangly but she uses them well when she runs very powerful π₯°
Sprollie? Can see both in her, but which brain/traits did she get? Collie brain with springer nuttiness sounds like fun. π
Yes she's a Sprolllie pup ..she's a very very intelligent little lady quick to respond π
I definitely see spaniel but also a sprinkling of collie. Sheβs a little waxer as my Dad would say. ππ
Definitely agree with you π―
She's a real beauty! I'd say more spaniel than collie in her looks. What about her disposition? I've had 2 collies, they were both extremely gentle, loving and obedient, although mischievous when just puppies.
She's quite a gentle loving little girl ... but she may change her ways as she's still only 18 weeks but fingers crossed she keeps her calm way ...I think the training and work we are putting into her keeps her stimulated enough that she won't act up too much ....she's crate trained from the day we got her she beds herself down about 8 and I wake her when I get up for an early morning walk...but we play and train on the walks so keeping it fun for her ...I was on the forest with her at 4 .45 this morning ππ she uses her crate about 5 hours throughout the day for her rest time xx
Dunno. She's what my dad called a sooner. Sooner be a mixture of 2 (or more) breeds than just one. Whatever she is , she's gorgeous. xxx
Absolutely π©·π©·
Heinz 55.
itβs Heinz 57 not 55. Iwould say by the way he is standing and his ears he definitely a Springer spaniel.
this was my two. The grey one was a true collie and the golden one we think was crossed by a retriever.
To me a mix, We have cats so i am going back to younger days. Looks more alert than a Springer Spaniel we used to have - It is IMO a mix of both,
She is a mix of border collie and springer Spaniel they are called Sprolllies..it was just some fun to see who thought what she breed she was more off π
Years ago I remeber a Springer Spaniel we had taking me for a walk I was young and strong, so was the dog
