Thank you to all of you who replied to my request for help in choosing a mobility scooter
There was ( as usual). A lot of helpful suggestions which I have taken on board The one I like and may buy is the lite tech neon but I’m looking around now for the cheapest price
(Careco sells it for nearly 2 thousand £)
Once again Thanks for all your help and advice
Kind Regards
Brian

I have checked these out and they do look good. My main concern would be they would be no good in a more hilly area as they only do 10% gradient. Also while there are many dropped kerbs sometimes they can then rise more than 10%.
Don't forget though that you can apply to get the vat back as you have a medical conditon.
I remember trying that scooter and would have ordered except that they couldn't deliver in time for our holiday.Out of interest, what is your rough location?
I wondered where you were as I wondered if the one the man is selling near me would be any good, but I'm in Eastbourne so too far to come to look at a used one, I think. I must admit that I was prepared to pay full price for one like the one you're after if I could have had it in time. However, the one I got second hand for £550 including mirror, bags and full service history has been ideal (although heavier).
If speed is of the essence, though, you will probably have to cough up £2000, as you say, to get exactly what you want.
After a lot of advice and research I identified the one I wanted but it cost 2 thousand pounds. I have been waiting to see if a second hand one becomes available in my area
There have been quite a few adverts for it but all have been at the other end of the country.
I live in hope
The model is the CareCo Li tech Neon 15/30
It is very lightweight and has a lithium battery It dismantles into 5 pieces and fits into the boot of most cars
