This week we ran away to the circus and for two hours I lived my best life! Such joy! Such energy! Such wonderment!

Giffords is absolutely wonderful! Good for you in getting to see it, Tweedy the clown is local to me, so very clever and writes a lot of scripts. Nell Gifford started it & it's a proper real old fashioned one where the only animals are horses. Nell wrote a book for children before she died (far too young). It's a lovely book for any child or grandchild.

We love the traditional style of it. This year there were tiny miniature ponies. Tweedy is so clever and funny.

You have to check on line to find out where they're pitching their huge traditional big top. They're based in Gloucestershire and travel around. Right now they're at Blenheim Palace to 30th May then Chiswick House west London 2nd to 19th June, then Elstree, Evenley, Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, Minchinhampton Glos, Marlborough Wiltshire, Cirencester Glos, lastly Stroud in Gloucestershire ending 1st Oct '23.

We did and I'd recommend Giffords circus to anyone for pure escapism.
