hi. I want ask if it hapen to anybody. (If bronchiectasis is diagnosed when in its early stages, it’s sometimes reversible. This means that with the right treatment the condition will go away. In two out of three children diagnosed, bronchiectasis can be reversed or improved). Thank you for your answer

I didnt think bronchietasis could be reversed once the damage has been done. I am sure others will give you advice.
once you have bronchilectasis it’s not reversible, it’s down to how you treat it
You had some gd replies to yr same question 4mths ago.perhaps revisit them
You asked this same question 4 months ago and received lots of replies.
its not a question. Is a paragraph that i find at this web.
Who posted that online orginally? Can you show us the web address, please?
A lot of what we find on the web is not safe for various reasons - for instance, people trying to sell things or courses, people thinking they know things when they don't, people claiming to be experts when they aren't.

Thanks for giving us the link, which is to a web page written by our HU community sponsor ALUK. It's clearly saying, very early stage bronchiecstasis in children may be reversible in 2 out of every 3 cases. This reversability is not transferable to adults, as children's physiology is much more plastic and malleable than adults', due to their bodies still growing and changing.
Unfortunately, in the past that window of opportunity in childhood was missed because bronchiectasis wasn't understood the way it is now. So a lot of people have had bronchiectasis since childhood, yet have managed to live fulfilling lives despite the limitations of their condition.
Maybe a call to the helpline can answer your question. Clearly we’ve all been told it’s manageable but not curable. The article is referring to children though and I doubt a diagnosis would be obtained at such an early stage here.
Hi .. I haven't heard that Bronchiectasis can go away .... but it's manageable with the right equipment or drugs
Sorry to disappoint but I do not think it is reversible - it is a 'condition' which can be restricted by changes in lifestyle and/or environment and proper medication:

Dear Laki11 , I have had bronchiectasis since I was about 5. I'm 69yrs. old now. I never heard about it being reversible.
Dear Ellieoak I don't know how to write this, but this is the first time I have heard someone so young with bronchiectasis & you are now 69 years old. I hope you are doing well 💞It gives me hope that I'm not alone. When I was first diagnosed 20 plus years ago no one could understand the word bronchiectasis so I would have to say chronic Bronchitis for them to understand. It's so sad that there isn't a cure for it. Once the Cilia on the lungs gets damaged then that's it, it can't heal & grow back.
The body is an amazing thing that such small hairs on the lungs do so much work for us it's unbelievable. It does humble me, I am grateful for everything I have & that I shouldn't take anything for granted.
