I was switched over to Trimbow about a year ago it certainly has been better for me Naresh
Can I ask what respiratory conditions you have please. I am on Trelegy and finding it doesn't seem to be helping recently I have severe copd and Asthma. The blue ventolin inhaler doesn't help me either but they have not offered me anything else. Brian
Hi Brian I too have severe COPD and was switched from Trelegy to Trimbow about 5 months ago. This was because I didn't have enough puff to be able to inhale it properly. I was taken into hospital (unrelated!) the same day I started it and it's been a long recuperation, but I am now feeling good on it. I would definitely give it a try. xx
Trimbow is the main daily treatment for COPD (Emphysema) and includes three medications. Technically it is a preventative; your blue inhaler is the reliever. I have found it effective although I was on tiotropium for some years and will this Wednesday once again discuss going back to this with my clinicians.

Me too, I take it for my emphysema which is now severe, I have had to change my dosage from 2 twice a day to 1 four times a day, it's great, it helps a lot..
Can I ask - do you find the one puff 4 times a day is more effective than 2 puffs twice a day? I have 2 puffs twice a day but by mid afternoon it's like I've hit a wall! Just wondering if the more evenly spaced doses would be better.
I would say that it's more effective taking single doses, well for me anyway, 1 puff does last for around 4 hours most of the time, 2 puffs ran out around the 5 hour mark leaving me hunting for air, I had read somewhere about someone who took the trimbow in single doses and I thought I would try it, it works for me, I take it at say 7.30 in the morning, then I spin it out to 12.30--1.00pm and then up to 5pm and usually take the last one around 10pm,sometimes 9.30pm, it can be a bit of a stretch sometimes but at least it's not all those hours that it was when I used it the two times twice a day, all we can do is try, it's been ok'd by my doctor and the respiratory team who I see, to me anything is worth a go and if it helps then great, if not then stick to the original ideas, do you get breathless through the night...
Thanks for that, my mouse. I think I’ll give it a try. Fortunately I haven’t been breathless during the night and sleep quite well - usually about 5 hours. Recently though I have woken during the night and had to sit up and use my Ventolin. Maybe that will improve with a later dose of Trimbow. As you say, anything is worth a try. Thanks again.
Been on Trimbow for several months - doesn't help at all. Was prescribed Trixeo but GP Dispensary couldn't get it so Trimbow is the alternative! Been so breathless, I've run out of Salbutamol but, sod's law, GP's is changing their computer system so I can't get any!
