Hi Pnut, I was recently recovering from Covid which left me with a bad cough, and rather than antibiotics my GP prescribed Prednisolone and 5 day course of 6x5mg tablets once a day helped me almost immediately. I have had a similar dose in the past and it works great for me. I hope this is helpful to you. Carnut
