Update he had a few chicken portions yesterday just small and enough to whip his appetite back into shape ....After my dog walks this morning I took him for a little mooch up to one of the enclosures one of his favourite places as there's pheasants around for the chase π...
On the return from our walk he decided to bring his food bowl to me ( regular thing ) to tell me he's hungry he's had a chicken dinner with a bit of rice mixed in and he's now fast asleep in the window seat looking like he's on the mend ..can't help but feel the love for him my boy Stan the man I'm so pleased for him and us β€οΈ
I also want to thank everyone for their best wishes and love I'm sure it helped his recovery and I send my love back out to you just for caring β€οΈ

Well done Stan the Man! π Great to see him looking so good π. I remember steaming fish for one of my elderly dogs when she could no longer cope with chicken. My whole flat permanently reeked of fish!! π€£xxx

So glad Stan in on the mend. My Poppy who is 14, was very lethargic and out of sorts a few years ago, she was diagnosed with a mild heart murmur. We kept thinking we are going to lose her. Then when she was having a good brush, we found a very large tick on her. When it was removed, she picked up after a while, we stopped her heart tablets and within a month she was as right as rain. So message is watch out for ticks. Not saying that was Stan's problem. Glad he's getting back to normal x
Thanks so much Shirley that's lovley of you ...Tics are disgusting I get Stan clipped every 5 weeks and he's on Bravecto from the vets haven't seen a tic on him for 3 years since using the stuff ... as soon as they latch on they are dead same with fleas...
