Thank you all for your suggestions. I use a lot of them myself. I should have mentioned that my father has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in the last 4 months, is 92 and almost completely deaf once he takes his hearing aids out.

You could try a lavender spray for the pillow or perhaps talk to the doctor for something like Amytriptyline which helps to relax you x
