Yay! I'm one of those lucky people who's had an allergic reaction to either my Trelegy Ellipta or my Carbosisteine. I've spent the morning scratching. My skin feels like it's on fire and it looks like pink scales. Skin rash and hives are supposed to be possible side effects of both. So I don't know which is causing it. Until my GP opens on Monday, a pharmacist had suggested I stop taking them. Great. Asthma and Bronchiectasis with NO medication. How's that going to work? 🤨

Oh no! I’d never start two drugs at the same time, for this very reason (which advice I realise is no help to you now!) There are loads of other medications you can try, don’t worry
Hi, my husband was started on carbosistine and trelegy a few months ago for copd and asthma. He has now had to stop carbosistine they make him feel unwell all the time, bad stomach pains, feeling sick all the time, was told by the doctor to stop it all together, been much better since. Still takes the trelegy its settled down now. Take care and stay safe.
I use nacsys 600mg effervescent tablets once a day instead of carbocysteine that works better for me, I use seretide inhaler which gives palpitations but not ichy skin so maybe it is the elipta
