My kind of day especially with my dog Pippin though she’d be barking at the swans!!
Pippin sounds lovley but barking at the swans increases the dogs chance of being attacked ...and the dog would come away worse... don't mean to sound horrible but I have seen the results of a Swan attack on a dog years ago keep your furry ones close and respect the swans space 💜
Totally agree with that and whenever we do riverside walks she’s on the lead, she’s lovely but has her moments…!

We have had a gutful of the rain ... its been warm rain as temps have been at least 15 ... was a joy to see blue skies 💙
Yes its been warmish here which I will be grateful for when the energy bills come in. Its been a really mild winter so far only having that one cold spell and at least the water level's will be replenished, bet that hasn't been easy for you with the dog walking even if they do enjoy the wet. Hope our little Stan is doing ok x
The forest is awash with puddles the size of rivers ... the commission have been digging more verges to drain the water but there are high spots that can be walked on so sometimes its perfectly fine...low spots can be muddy and very slippy ... Stans doing ok I have cut his long group walks back and doing shorter ones with him on his own
I'm looking at buying a dog buggy for him so he can come on the group walks when he's tired I can push him around I'm not sure if he would enjoy it or not ...
I have a key meter so have more of an idea what I'm using.. I have been using candles in the evening when watching TV and heating has been on a few times but nothing major 🥰
Oh my word sounds like you have had alot of rain too.Sounds like you are keeping up with Stan's needs by shorter walks and a buggy could be a good idea if he takes to it.

It's been crazy weather here ... I have done two walks today first one group of 4 beautiful doggos absolutely chucked it the whole time .. second walk the sun shine blue skies and very warm all day even in the rain 🌧 💙

swans lovely, thanks. I’m looking forward to being able to go out for change of view. At moment my garden and bird feeders are being attacked by 3 squirrels, who apart from getting to feeders are chasing each other, and digging holes in flower beds. Jean x
Squirrels are hilarious but devils in making a mess and stealing food 🤣
