I think like many after disgnosis you are left to sort things out on your own, there doesnt seem to be much help out there and we have so many questions. This site has provided so much support for me and given so much helpful advise that neither hospital or gp were capable of, experience counts for alot x

Thank you. It’s so nice to have such a warm welcome from others who have the same condition . And I’m getting to grips with being lighthearted too. A really good friend and physio advised me to remember I’m still me and not just the bronchiectasis and not to focus my whole life on it as it will get me down. I’m learning to accept what I can and can’t do xx

Hi and welcome poochpants 55. Your friend has advised you well to be you and not be immersed in bronchiectasis. It’s fair to say our symptoms are individual to us. Many on here have had it since childhood Take care. Xx
