Anyone had lung reduction? Being suggested for me but not sure pros and cons as I do not know anyone who has had it done, On home oxygen 15hrs Aday. Any advice?

I had lung reduction surgery in October 2018 . I had an upper left lobectomy . Wish I had it done sooner . Had it done at The Royal Brompton in London. I say if you have beenoffered it go ahead it will change your life .

Definitely agree with Alfiebax2. Had my op just before first lockdown at Royal Papworth hospital. Take up the offer. If your on oxygen 15 hrs then you need something. Just remember to take care and rest well after the operation.
