Yes thanks Carole but had to go into HU website to post and see others . Usually automatically they are sent via e.msil every morning. Not received anythin fir past few days. Hope you and Pete are well sending love. Having my cataract OP on Sunday morning 🙈👍💕⚘xx
How frustrating for you Sheila. Hope things are resolved soon. Maybe someone else eill know what to do. We’re ok thank you and wishing you well for Sunday. Pete’s having his second cataract op on Saturday.
Thinking of you. Xxx🤗🫣💜❤️💕
Good luck with the op, Sheila
Good luck with the op, Sheila! I hope it makes a big difference for you, as it has done for several of my friends and family members 😀
I too have issues with HU emails - I seem to receive a lot of them 12-24 hours after everyone else, for some weird reason, and sometimes don’t get them at all, just see the responses a day or so later. Gremlins!
I had my cataracts done on Sundays. The eye team travelled from Sunderland to Kendal every weekend to do the ops. Good luck with yours. x
Good luck with your op. Bernardine xxx🥰🤗🤗🤗
Just to add my good wishes for your op.I have had both my cataracts removed and it was the best thing I have ever done. I've been told that my vision now exeeds 20/20.
All the best for your cataract op.
I didn't get an email from HU a couple of days ago, but it rectified itself again now.
Good luck with your op on Sunday, I had mine done last year, first one in April then second one in the June, couldn’t believe how clear I could see straight after I had it done, even with the plastic patch over it, was amazing, everything looked brighter, I even thought the traffic lights were new at a particular roundabout, ha ha 🌺🌸💐 xx
That sounds fab hope I get good result .still nervous as I have anxiety attacks so praying this wont happen on Sunday🙏 thanks for reassurance. Have a good day xxSheila 💕⚘
I was very nervous too, but it was so quick, didn’t feel a thing, will be sending vibes out to you on Sunday morning xx 🌷🌺💐
It's normal to be apprehensive but they're very good, and u don't see anything except a light and dont feel a thing.mine was large and almost completely obscured my vision so well worth doing.do u have coping strategies to ward off anxiety x
had the same thing happen last week but it appears to have righted itself 🐞
I had a couple of days with only three or four posts so I don’t know what’s going on.
Mine came through today hope it continues xxSheila 💕
hi Sheila I had to log out and then back in again for everything to go back to normal. Hope you’re ok and enjoying your Xmas shopping? Cx
I’m trying to catch up, glad cataract op went well, they do make such big difference. Expect your having second in new year. Good luck, Jean x
Yes I found cataract ops very good, made big difference. Hope don’t keep you waiting long for 2nd, as might need new specs afterwards. Nice Christmas present, good luck. Best wishes Jean x
I have been told I wont need to wear glasses after. Only for reading. I don't wear my glasses now as see better without them .have a nice day xxSheila 💕⚘
that’s so good, I’ve worn specs for over 40 years, would be great not to need them. Yes both have nice day, best wishes, Jean x and Morrison x
I have glasses but sure wrong prescription as really can only see close up and should be distance glasses. Can see better without them. Hopefully will improve when op settles down as at present no difference still a film over eye. It is early days and have to be patient. Trouble is I want results immediately . xxSheila 🙈💕⚘
oh, that’s not good, hope that when have eye test in New Year after second op you need only reading glasses. I have varifocal, for reading and distance as couldn’t be constantly changing specs. I had friend who worked at Aston University, needed more people for students, have been going there about 45 years, takes longer but have all tests. Good luck, Jean x
