Discontinue Apixiban

Hi, I am due my yearly review tomorrow with a New Electrophylogists .Last year my consultant mentioned ? discontinuing Apixiban. I was taken aback and said No.

What does anyone thnk. I understood after my second Abalation 5 years aago that I would be on Apixiban for life.
