I was born to be blonde. Thanks to my lovely hairdresser who comes to my home and I have known for 30yrs. Loving my highlights gives me a lift.
Needed cheering up after the reaction from Moderna Vaccine not a pleasant experience
I am fortunate as my hairdresser nursed her Dad with COPD so she is very patient with me ,Thank you Jan xx💕💕⚘⚘

my hairdresser has just hung up her scissors after 18 yrs! I am devastated! I wish that I lived close enough to have the lady who keeps you looking so fab.
oh no .my hairdresser has also retired but she lives just a few houses away so I am fortunate as she still comes to do my hair. I only have her every 3months. I have a perm then highlights following week..really grateful as she understands me and knows my hair. I style my hair myself as its wet when Jan leaves. I always had to do my hair , as when living abroad there were no hairdressers in the Desert .My Mum and sister were both hairdressers so Its in the family.
I tong backcomb the lot. Had same hairstyle for years..dont like change and never follow fashion I do my own thing
Straight hair doesn't suit me .lol.
Hope you find another hairdresser. Good luck xxSheila💕🎶

When I lived in previous village she worked in the hairdressers there.,and I used to go to her. Then I moved to this house 2 8yrs ago and it's thesame village as Jan ,I can see her house from mine. She then went mobile and so used to come to my house ,I am fortunate s she continues to do my hair after retirement as we are great friends .thank you for the Compliment. Lots of love x xSheila 💕⚘
You look lovely! Isn’t it a pick me up to do things that bring us joy. I didn’t get my hair done but I did get custom built inside plantation shutters installed on all the windows. Some call them estate shutters. Anyhow I’m as excited about that as when I shop for a new outfit. 😂🤣 I’m 65 and first time I’ve ever had these shutters on the inside as they are quite expensive. Companies make them much differently now than when I was a kid. They are gear driven. Easy to open to clean the windows. Excellent insulation against cold or hot weather. Apparently I was included in a class action lawsuit from employment I worked back in 2005. I’d completely forgotten about it. But the proceeds, the check arrived much to my surprise. It was more than enough to buy the shutters. 💃💃💃
I had shutters fitted a couple of months ago. Love them. I open the bottom on my big bay windows as love to let the light in. I agree doing something that makes you feel happy is a good thing. I am 78 so quite a bit older than you and one of my sayings is "if you cant stop thinking about it ,buy it" Also if I buy in sale, I tell my husband "its not what I spent,it's what I saved " lol .. Ihave an answer for everything. Have a lovely day and my highlights have cheered me up. XxSheila 💕⚘
Your funny! My hubby will say but if you don’t buy it you’ll save even more. 😂🤣
I love the blinds. They’re thick and great insulation. It’s freezing and feet of snow in the winter and desert hot in the summer. I’ve never had shutters before so it’s very cool that the bottom and top can open or be shut separately. I love the look of them.
That is such a lovely photo! Do you remember what 78 used to look like when we were young?!! Treasure your hairdresser I have a good one too. She sees me as a person not an elderly lady.
Old habits die hard. have had the same hairstyle for over 30yrs. I keep to what I can manage myself and dont follow trends. Hate to see all newscaster and celebrities with same hairstyle . also straight hair does not suit me. I'm the curly, backcombing type of lady lol. Have a lovely day xxSheila 🖐💕⚘🤹♀️
Mine is dead straight. I do style my hair so it’s not flat to my head. I hate it when it’s flat. I did think of having a perm because it worries me if I’m ill anytime and I can’t do it. I’m afraid I will hate it now if I have one.I was very poorly with the flu jab for about 20 hours and I didn’t bother with my hair then. That makes you feel even worse.
I can do my hair myself just have my hairdresser to perm and highlight every 3 or 4 months. No point having something I cant keep up. I can even cut it myself. I tong it and then trim each curl before combing out. Learned a lot whilst living in the Desert in Dubai years ago in the 70's, no hairdressers in those days only Indian Barbers 🙈 lol .xxSheila ⚘💕
I’ve cut my hair a few times. Do you use an Afro comb on your hair. Although mine is straight I still use mine. I was in hospital for 12 days when my back went. My hair was just flat to my head. I’d hate that again. That’s why I get tempted to get a perm.
I use a backcombing comb which has two sides. I backcomb with the teeth side and lift with steel prongs. Done this since I was a teenager. I love height also dont like flat hair. xxSheila 🙈⚘💕
I’ve never seen a comb like that before but if it works. I wish I’d kept my hair like yours. I wouldn’t have the dilemma of should I shouldn’t I now if I did.
Thank you. Better than dirty grey / dark blonde. Just some highlights to brighten it up..My Mum went white at 38yrs old. If I followed her wouldn't have to highlight.
my Dad still no grey at 74 when he sadly passed.
Have a lovely day giving 20deg tomorrow. Whopee!! xxSheila 😎🌞🌞⚘💕
I've known her for years she knows my hair. The perm gives it body and the highlights make it less fine. Great combination. Also she gets the right colour as love it white and no yellow .cant stand yellow blondes.🙈 nothing worse.xxSheila xx⚘💕🌞
