anyone know if sputum bacterial growth can make breathing worse or other symptoms????

Not being rude or difficult, Colby, but you’ve had a lot of replies to all your other posts now, all confirming that a chest infection, which is all bacteria in sputum means, can cause a variety of respiratory symptoms including wheezing, tightness, and breathlessness. These symptoms make breathing more difficult. More generally, a chest infection will often cause a productive cough, with sputum sometimes being yellow or green, and n addition to chest and potential breathing symptoms may or may not cause other things like fatigue, lack of appetite, and fevers. If you are concerned about your breathing, I would advise you to speak to a doctor: have they admitted you for the IV antibiotics you said they were going to give you yet?
