Yes they do. He’s been on them for years with no issues.

I was on them for years without any issues and I think they helped. I have now had to stop taking them due to side effects- I was having horrific nightmares- but they are worth trying and most people take with no issues. As I said for years I was fine on them.

I’ve been on them for 3 years or so now. Not had any problems and have had no night time waking since going on them.

in reply to Troilus

hi did you wake up alot before???

I used to wake up about 2 in the morning, not exactly gasping for breath, but with that feeling that I wasn’t getting enough air - if you know what I mean. I would take a couple of puffs of blue, feel “normal” and go back to sleep. I don’t think that has happened since I went on Montelukast.

yes but only thing is you have to go for blood tests just to check levels incase it needs adjusting thats all. I started years sgo never bothered about blod test soon as i ended up.in hospital with pneumonia they didn't give me them for at least for 3 days so o had to havebloof test nesrly every other day and thd levels were low so when i was discharged couple of weeks later had to have a blood test and levels were still low so the gp increased but i could cope with increase so i want back to 200mg twice aday gone from 4monthly blood tests to 6 monthly and ot hasn't been adjust yet but say ing that I'm going for one this afternoon. You have to have blood test 4-6 hrs after you taken your morning tablet. Try them see how you get on with them but i do hope they ok . Keep me informed on how you doing 🤞🤞
