This is when i know summers over when the panage season starts and the oinkers are out on the forest πππ
Wow! How do the dogs get on with the pigs? Do they avoid contact with them?
X
My crews ignore all livestock if they ever annoy chase or bark at any animal on the forest they are dropped completely from anymore walks with me π₯°
Oh my! Just look at them. Xxπππ
I know there going to be big and fat after panage time π
Wow great photo, I love pigs. Are yhe fogs ok mixing with them or do they stay apart. Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely day and take care π Bernadette and Jack π xxxxxxx π»π»
Absolutely my doggos never go near livestock i wouldn't walk them again if they did .
I enjoy seeing the pigs π
They look so sweet, but I wouldn't like to get too near the piglets in case Mum objected. xxxx
They walk on the forest during pannage so they mainly eat all day and ignore everything else π

Oh look at those lovely pigs. What a nice site to see when out walking π
They are only let out for pannage season π₯°
Lovely photo
Thanks for the warning! I live quite close to you and am out in the forest with my dogs almost every day .. havenβt βspottedβ them yet! Although the dogs are very used to the rest of forest livestock, the young piglets who sometimes come chasing over at this time can be rather more distracting, being a similar size. π₯΄
Many years ago, there was a piglet who followed me all the way back to the car park and I was most concerned that it would get lost β¦.. I even rang the forestry commission for advice!! X
Hi neighbour π where are you based π they wont get lost for long
On edge of Totton .. normally walk at Longdown each day.
3 mini schnauzers! πΆπΆπΆ
I dont go to Longdown much i tend to stick over Beaulieu way maybe bump into you one day π₯°
Such a lovely site, I am sure you are used to dealing with the wild life in your neck of the woods and pleased to hear you have a stern outlook to your dogs not bothering the wildlife. It really annoys me when people let their dogs of the lead and think its ok to chase anything that comes along x
My biggest concern and they dont get any chances strike one they are gone π
ππ€£π you are so lucky !! x
Love seeing them π
They are so cute! We left too early to see the pigs, which is a shame. How are they rounded up again?
They are brought back in after 60 days or so and taken somewhere not very pleasant...π
πͺ
aww. How wonderful to come across the π· What a life they lead- eat all day! X
Not so great at the end of pannage for them.π
