Hatchett pond π
Looks very peaceful.
It's lovley when grockles aren't around π
Grockles? Never heard that word before.
Put me out of my misery what is a grockle
Sorry only just seen this it's a tourist or holiday maker we get them in their droves here and stop in the middle of the roads to take pictures and some try and feed the livestock it's a bit crazy sometimes π
I wanna be a grumpy granny grockle who paddles in the sea, causes traffic jams looking in shop windows and stops to take in everything. That's my aim for this summer!
I can see why this is your favourite place looks so calming and peaceful thank you for sharing have a good day and take care π Bernadette and Jack π xxxxxx π»π»
Makes me wish I could still swim, so cool looking.
I can see why its a special place for you BB. What a beautiful and tranquil place to reflect on your day. I think I would like to spend a few hours sitting there and absorbing the landscape. Thanks again.Xx
Really lovely, peaceful, I hope doesnβt get too busy! Thanks for showing us your favourite place. x
Lovely photo of a beautiful place. How did the pond get its name? Is it shaped like a hatchett or was it named after a person or a place, or even a legend?
Really pretty!
Its a beautiful spot β€
I need to come and do a little trip in my van this summer down your way! Itβs literally only down the road! x
It is lovely there and I can understand why itβs your favourite place. Although you do have so many beautiful places to chose from. Thank you once again for all your recommendations, they were just right. β€οΈπ
Hi Mooka I got your message but can respond unfortunately due to having changed my email more than twice so I'm not being rude ...I'm glad you had a lovely time when you were here and Molly enjoyed it ... I live in Beaulieu enclosure which is not the village but on Montagues land so we are a very private in the woods ... I used to live in Hythe near the pier but moved some years back ...I hope you didn't get caught in the rains while you were here .. its gone up to 24 today so very hot again if time allows on your next visit feel free to ask for more recommendations.. I'm surprised you only saw one deer at Bolderwood they move around in large herds that way which are a sight to behold stay in touch π₯°
You have been so helpful I didnβt think you were being rude. We got caught in the storm coming back from the pub. Other than that the weather was perfect for travelling/Walking around. To be honest we have a lot of deer here in Norfolk and the herds of them caused problems during lockdown walking along A11. We had a lovely walk at Bolderwood. Thanks Iβll be back for more recommendations when we manage to go again. π
I am not surprised this is your favourite place BB , it looks beautiful, thanks for sharing x
Thank you for sharing your special place Bb, it looks so peaceful but I bet that was a very early morning shot with no grockles around xxxπ
It was midweek around 11 ish bloody grockles are a nightmare π«
I bet. We have the problem here on the Moray Coast, but they are not called grockles up here! A few months to go before they all go home xxxπ
Another of your beautiful mindful places so long as grockles arenβt there! X
Oh very serene. Almost like an oil painting. Thank you for sharing BB. xx π·
How beautiful. It looks so tranquil. Do you let Stan jump in?
