Low white blood cells…

Hi, I’ve to have a repeat blood test as my WBC count is low. Anyone had experience of this?

Low white blood cells is one of the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, which I think that you have. Sometimes my white blood cell count drops if I am having IV antibiotics but comes back up after about 7 days.

My dad has low white blood cells. He has had numerous tests and blood taken. Medics have decided that it’s just part of his “make up “ and have made comments to that affect on his notes both at gp and hospital. Nothing can be found wrong so is viewed as just him!!

Well I’m not in any pain at the moment so I’m hoping they won’t meddle with my meds 🤔🙄

Hi Sjhoney. I kept getting low blood counts, Dr took me of Methotrexate, that’s now sorted. Hope your soon sorted 👍 Best wishes. On my trike.

Well I’m on both lefluonomide and recently jak inhibitors so maybe they’ll take me off the lef as that’s the one that stopped working?
