Beautiful magnolia Lindon. The buds on mine are just starting to open. Last year the flowers got frost burn so I'm hoping that doesn't happen this spring.

Lovely Magnolia (Stellata?), especially contrasted against the blue sky! My kids got me one for Mother's day about 4 years ago, but sadly, I think I have lost it somehow, no flowers and very few leaf buds :( xx

Is it in a pot our in the ground top dress it with soil improved it the stuff the consul collect and turn into rocket fuelled compost well that what the council do in Birmingham only 2 .50 bag they like acidic soil to

I am embarrassed to say that it is still in a pot. I will give it a top dressing with maybe some ericaceous mix and maybe a good feed! Thanks for that xx

It's was once a family home the house is on the Bristol road it was originally a 5 acher site it was left to the city council we have an orchard wildlife area and small wood and formal area we stop the powers that be from building on it we work with over 60 people a week and it works so well
