Gees it was wicked here no rain just the sun and winds horrendous cancelled all my dog walks stayed home watching Netflix all day ... hope you guys are all well and survived the worst of things ππ
We were lucky really but trees down in our village apparently. Glad youβre ok though and Iβm sure the dogs missed their walks. Xxπππ
Another beauty BB. I hope the weather is better where you are. Keep safe.RR
What a fantastic photoBb9, it's a beautiful anal thank you for sharing. Have a great day and take care π Bernadette and Jack π xxxxxx
Great Photo π xx
She knew you were there taking her photo. That was good of her to give you a terrific shot, wonder if she ran off or are they quite tame? Thank you for sharing BB xxx
Thankyou no they are wild all of them roam free in the forest in their herds ππ€
Doesn't she look sweet. Some people round here curse them for the damage they do to their gardens. They're so sneaky you don't realise they're there. We had one muntjac come regularly to our garden- Haven't seen any sign of him or her lately, but he was in the part of the garden I call the jungle, so he couldn't do much harm there. Next door went one better they had a fallow deer on their front lawn.
They tend to stay in the forest round here they are very quiet π€«
There is no forest round here sadly, but the deer live happily in the pockets of ancient woodland between the huge agricultural fields. Then they adventure out to find the nice snacks the farmers and the gardeners provide. Most people like to see them- not the farmers though. xxx
Great photo of a beautiful creature Hope all is well in your part of the U.K. now. X
It's very windy still ... hope you all survived its Bern awful weather π
Not too bad up north. - bit windy It was worse with storm Douglas. Itβs just heaving with rain at the moment so maybe some patches of flooding. I think the road closures for roadworks are causing more trouble take care. Cuddles to Stan xx
Glad to hear you survived the storms BB and the little deer doesnt look to have suffered. I think we must be water logged here in the north as its been so wet. I have never known such a wet winter, its horrid x
It's been windy here only last week I was in shorts and tshirt now we are going back to ski pants and big coats ππ€
Muntjack deer's live on Steep Hold island in the Bristol channel as well.
We went there back in 2005 and I'm so glad we took the chances when they were there.
Covid has taught me to take chances whilst they are there!
Couldn't agree more with life is to be lived π
Yes I feel very strongly how life is for living not hiding away!
Beautiful animal. Youβve captured the perfect pose π
Thankyou β€οΈ
Well, you've given me the 'new word of the day'! Never heard of Mrs. Munjac deer before! Such a tiny dear deer!
They are quite small compared to others π₯°
Oh, and I've already spelled it wrong! Mrs. Muntjac! How solopsistic of me! (New Word of the Day a few weeks ago.π)
And what a word it is ππ
