Coughing up jelly

I get the exact same am almost certain it's caused from high pollution areas city's or fumes going out in the bush or away to fresh air seems to clear it all up for a few months but it keeps coming back since I live in the city

Hi Jmok, welcome to the site 😊. I’m not sure if you intended to create a new post or reply to someone else’s ? In any case I don’t know what your suffering from but I’d agree that any lung conditions benefit from time spent in clean air , if you can get out of the city do so as often as you can for the sake of your health x

Hi. Yes I also cough up jelly. It seems when there is no infection present ( as in colour) the mucus is very jelly like. If colected in a specimen jar it does appear to set. The situation changes almost day to day. I cough up plugs too and of course the whiteish blobs typical of bronchiectasis. Can only say I have jelly mucus but unable to help otherwise. Thanks for post. Would be nice to know more, so think I will ask more questions.
