Hi hope Christmas is good still few days

To go . AF had it Permanently for about 2-3

Year’s previous just on and off .

NHS bless sent me to see a lovely Lay

Profesor Diana Gorog @ QE11 Welwyn

Went on to stronger dose Bisoprolol and

Ramipril 10 mm of both increase slowly.

Had Cardio Version lasted 2Days

Then Cardio Ablation at Chelsea Royal

Brompton worked for a short while.

Had Cardio Version again worked for a Day or so .

Then on August 21st this year a Saturday

I was treated by Dr Jones a Heart Surgeon

Again at Royal Brompton with Cardio Ablation he said he ha a good chance to fix my AF as mapping was done of my Heart on the first procedure.

And great since August 21st he made me

Free of AF over 4 Months now pulse seems

Very Stable around 62 - 75 but as it should be hopefully it will continue as the unwanted Electric signals have been

Sorted by Burning feel much better.

Regards

Hi, glad your AF has been successfully treated. This forum is for anyone with lung disease. Your post may be better put on the British Heart Foundation forum. Best wishes.

Hi, thats really good news Seventy9, pleased to hear it.I think you may have meant to post your news on the AF Association but don't worry, plenty of lung patients here also have AF.

You can copy and paste your post to AF Association if you wish.

Happy boxing day and new year!

That sounds good, John. You must have some excellent surgeons. Don't worry about being on the wrong site- some of us, me included, manage to have both heart and lung conditions. xxx

I was very glad to read your post as I also have AF and am waiting for catheter ablation to be done. As I am often told by the medics, having one condition doesn't mean you can't have another!Hope you had a happy Christmas! xx Moy

Oh that’s such good news to hear of successful treatment. For those of us who develop AFib on top of an ILD it’s a relief. Thank you for passing it on. Grace
