What is the story on steam cleaning lungs? Is it in the experimental stage and has it found to be helpful?

Can say I have heard of this. I know sometimes its good to be in a steam room and think it helps to losen everything, I suppose it also hydrates your lungs so it cant be a bad thing. Maybe standing in the shower for a while would have the same sort of effect x

I suppose it could work the same, but if trying by using the shower please be careful andake sure there is someone in the house with you in case you are affected by the steam. Have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx

Thanks for your concern Bernadette but steam doesn't bother me too much and I live alone so its not a problem. I do have a facial steamer for when I want use essential oils which all helps x

There was a study done on steam cleaning the lungs somewhere in England. I can't locate the article anymore.

A friend of mine swore that visiting the public steam room once per month cleared her lungs and sinus's. Steam rooms are wet where as sauna's are dry, so i suppose it depends on what problems you have, but both I am sure hydrate your lungs so cant be a bad thing x

Haven't heard of this. I know I struggle in hot steamy atmospheres like in the rain forest house at the zoo.
