Had my booster jab on Wednesday, straight forward with no side effects except the usual achy arm muscle. Bu the news on another variant is noit good so still; need to take care all.

Glad all was well after your booster Katie. News of the new variant isn't good at all. Little sign of this nasty virus easing off yet. At least we are aware of it and can continue to be careful.

It is depressing that even with all the vaccines ect its still getting into our Island . I wonder how ? helps to keep my brain going trying to work it out stay safe.xx

Yes I had no problem at all with the booster 3 weeks ago now think it was. Very suspicious that this new variant has come along at Christmas time again. Just hope it doesn't scupper my holiday plans. Hope you're keeping as well as possible katieoxo60 Brian

Yes I am. We can only do so much. I just been reading down in Southern Spain. People have been having major problems after having the booster jab. Think they had different vaccine to us

Glad you had no side affects from the booster Katie, cant say I felt very well for a couple of days after, my arm was so red and swollen. I read yesterday that due to this new strain we will probably need yet another booster, like everybody we are all getting fed up of it . We just have to be careful and stay safe x

Apparently the vaccines start to wear off after a while , so I was anticipating possibly another one in six months if this new variant takes off. Strange that Pnuemonia jabs are just a one off but flu has to be done every year and this virus every six months at the moment. They are all supposedly genetics of the same illnesses. If anyone as more info Id love to read more about the sars viruses. Stay warm and as well as can be .

Hello Katie. So glad the booster had no ill effect you. The new variant has the world starting to close it's borders again. I think they know more than they tell us. We must all be vigilant as you say. Take good care of yourself. xx ❤️
