These two photos were taken within two weeks of each other. I think the leaves will remain for another week but come the end of the month will have gone. It's good to see the sun on the bronzed leaves this morning, here in my garden.

November Wisteria
So beautiful ❤️ have a good night and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx
Beautiful to see. And sunny. What a bonus. Have a good night David. xx 🌿🌱
Thanks Cas, I'm on the Up. XX
Thank you. We had a wisteria where we lived before but I think it is a non-starter up here at 1000 feet in the Pennines. But I do love them. So evocative of tea on the terrace in the afternoon sun. Kate xx
Same here, we used to have wisteria where we lived. Huge plants with abundant flowers. Here they would not survive, in fact very little does. It’s been hailing interspersed with torrential rain for weeks, and 70mph winds forecast for later in the week 🌊Its nice to bask in the glow of other people’s sunshine 😊
It looks good and healthy your wisteria .
Mine I bought well over thirty years ago, one flower in all that time . I tried every sort of pruning ….our old pet rabbit used to have a go too…no flower just huge amount of growth . I can’t dig it up as the roots are enormous.
It was cheap from a local market , so I guess it was a seedling so won’t flower ever.
Look forward to seeing a photo of yours in the spring .
Roundup do a root killer that can kill wisteria roots and should be done in the autumn, my mum had a devil of a job getting rid of hers, the roots were enormous and we all had a try at digging it up x
Seeing as I believe this site allows for time travel, so I take you to May 2022!
bought a new strain supposed to grow no more that 12 ft . in a pot / I have no room for that even so bought it as present for step daughter in law ! i hope it doesn't grow more than that as she decided that an ordinary one would need too much pruning ! fingers crossed.
called Amethyst from Hayloft plants.
Lovely Greenthorn. A beautiful plant that I would love to have had. Photos of it in flower next year would be good to see if you can oblige.
Beautiful photos. Thank you. Xx
Does it flower? My Son has one all along the back of his house. It was beautiful when it was in full flower. It actually flowered a couple of times. The second time not as much.
Looks beautiful. I’ve never seen wisteria or maybe have but not known 🤣
Yes, the bottom of our garden is a mix of trees and evergreens. The contrast of the two on each other is spectacular, EXCEPT when having to rake them up off the grass.

Lovely photos, especially the ones with the Wisteria in full bloom. Thank you for posting. xxx😊
Unfortunately I’m too far north to have wisteria, a friend In Cheshire has a beauty and I think that’s probably its northern limit......unless someone knows differently.....
They grow here in Lancashire xx
