Does anyone get diaphragm pain?

I've been getting it for a few days. It feels like being winded, and is worse on waking and when I go for a walk. I imagine it's just one of the wee joys of COPD but just wondered if I should get it checked.

I think you probably should, especially if its on the left side. The diaphragm is a muscle, I've no idea if it has nerve endings which feel pain. Hopefully someone else will be more useful. P

Hi Iridescent, yes I get diaphragm pain and painful ribs. I think it’s worse if one overeats or has a particularly breathless day. I think our lungs get over inflated and exacerbates the problem. Jan
