I was diagnosed with IPF in April 2018. Although I have learned to live with it with ambulatory oxygen, I recently contracted Covid and again, although recovering slowly, my oxygen needs have increased. Someone recommended and bought me an AirPhysio, but I'm wondering if it will it do my condition any further harm.

Air Physio.
Hi, I'm sorry that I can't answer your query but the use of the AirPhysio has been discussed before on the forum. If you type AirPhysio into the search box top right you should find the previous posts about it.
People have been talking to me as well about this Air Physio , but like you , don’t know of anyone with first hand experience. If you do go ahead , it would be interesting to know how you get on.
Hi l have severe asthma and bronchiectasis. Out of desperation l bought an Air Pysio as l was having trouble clearing chest after I V antibiotics. For me it really helped to get mucus moving again .This is just my personal experience but it really helped to become more mobile and start my pulmonary exercises again Wishing you luck if you decide to try it
Would it be worth ringing the BLF nurses to find out what they think?
I have p.f. but it's not productive ,never have mucus , but maybe ipf does , sorry to hear you had covid , I am on oxygen24/7 and it helps me have a life ,wishing you all the best
