……….. all so much for your lovely replies to my post yesterday does help to know that others understand what I’m going through along with so many others , this pandemic has thrown so many people into an environment that so many of us have never experienced before the worry and stress of trying to avoid picking up the virus constantly thinking about where your going who you’re mixing with , washing hands keeping yourself and others safe has become a burden that is now life , throw the loss of a very much loved mum into the equation and it’s almost too much to handle at times , I do feel a little brighter today and I will look into going through talking therapies again as I had some help from them a few years ago and it did help

Again thank you ALL so very much

Much love

It must be soul destroying living with people who don't (or won't) 'get it'.The BLF have an online counsellor you could talk to 03000 030555 uk office hours? Worth a try xx take ❤

Bless you Lesley. We’re here for you and maybe a good idea to ring the BLF number and speak to a counsellor as peege suggests.

Take care dear friend.

Love and hugs, Carole xxx❤️🤗

Hi Cales,

I did read your other post but did not reply because I do wonder how your husband must have felt when you said

"the only reason you get up in the morning was for the dogs".

I think your husband may well have been very hurt and upset.

I would have suggested you seek professional medical help in this situation, especially so as you may be feeling you are not getting valuable help and support from your husband emotionally.

My views are its too easy to blame other people, when really it is down to ourselves to be responsible for our own wellbeing, many people who live alone have to do this very thing.

I do hope you are feeling much better very soon and that you will feel in the near future days, that there are more reasons to get up in the morning.

It could well be that because you are depressed in grief you feel this way and it could well be that your husband is also feeling some grief and depression.

Best wishes to you and all those near and dear to you.

Don`t worry too much Leslie, I don`t talk to my wife (NOT) because I don`t like her, nana, Just because I get a sensible answer when I talk to myself (and more sympathy) I`M not Joking either..... OK... I am a wee bit 😀Being Ill and having to cope with scary things, is no real mean task.

But I think you are thinking of the answers for yourself and I wish you all the very best for a brighter and happier future.

PS, I think you will find your husband is more conscious of your plight but just does not know what to do.

I know what you can do ... Give him a cuddle and help him to understand what is irking you.

IT`S you and him and the doggies too A FAMILY.

❤️❤️

Glad you're feeling a bit better today and that you will soon feel up to taking up some of the suggestions which have been posted here. (Takes a lot of energy.) I can't say too much about my own situation, but you can guess why I empathise with you. You do need to talk to others. Good luck. xxxx
