Not in my name

Like most of you I have been horrified at the vile racial abuse levelled at our footballers recently. I wouldn't be alive if immigration was not allowed to exist! Both my lung consultant and my kidney consultant are from India, I have a Chinese respiratory consultant as well. I would lock these racists up and throw away the key!!

Completely agree Aingeful. These people should be named and shamed instead of being allowed to hide behind Social media. Xxxx

Totally agree Aingeful. These people are vile. They are not patriotic. They are not fans of England or football, they are despicable and pathetic.

Absolutely! There should be no room for racism in our society, be it in sport, education or any other aspect . xx

I totally agree it's disgusting, they aren't shouting when they have to be treated by them in hospital. Sassy is right we should me and shame them. Have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx

Like you Aingeful, I would say at least two thirds of the doctors I dealt with in the three hospitals I had to attend over two years ago were from India, China, Vietnam, Nigeria and Somalia, from the most junior to my consultant surgeon from Somalia! OMG! he was so handsome!😄 I actually remember only meeting two English, one lady consultant and her male Registrar.......and I will tell you something for nothing, they were all the most polite, respectful, competent and caring doctors I've ever met with complete regard for one's feelings and full explanations of illness and treatment etc. I also found the Indian nurses to be the most sweetest and respectful too!

When I was in hospital most of the nurses who cared for me weren't white welsh ones but it didn't matter as they were nice.

From across the "Pond," thankful for the brilliant Indian doctors who kept my girl with me for 48 years.... 'We're all better together...Diversity rocks!'
