10 June partial eclipse of the sun from the UK.

On 10 June 2021, those viewing from the UK will be able to see a partial solar eclipse. This is because viewers will be thousands of miles south of the path of annularity enjoyed by eclipse-watchers further north.

From the UK, the eclipse occurs late morning and favours those living in the northwest of the country.

Remember eye protection is needed. A simple pin hole in a piece of card focusing an image on some white paper will do just as well, cheap and simple :)

I’ll take a look with sun glasses 🤓 just in case!

Sunglasses are not good enough. Use a pinhole in a piece of card and focus the sunlight passing through it onto a piece of white paper instead.
