What a ship, she looks magnificent. I watched RMS Queen Elizabeth burn and sink in Hong Kong harbour in 1972, she was there for refurbishment, sad day x
Iβve only felt overcrowded on a cruise once and that was a sea day At the mo itβs restricted numbers so a good time to go. Enjoy the weekend π π
I have been on two but after suffering with a really bad chest infection on the last one , never again, too many bugs going around. I do miss being on the water, sailing. xxxπ
Hopefully, fingers crossed, if life returns to normal after all this Covid business, we will be on the Queen Mary 2 for Christmas & New Year this year cruising the Caribbean. π
She looks wonderful and so supreme! I don't think these modern cruise ships have that same stately look about them. Cruises are not for me. I don't like the sea, in it or on it and having to stay on the ship would drive me nuts! Just showed my husband your photo and he agreed with me that she looks so stately - his words - the modern ships are functional and look like a lot of shipping crates packed together!
I love swimming, always have, but in a swimming pool as I nearly drowned at Swanage of all places! When I was very young! So no I don't like the sea, I only paddle!
We cruised on queen Mary 2 gosh 10 years ago now ,trouble was it was our first cruise ,we started at the best ,other cruise ships were not the same ,if I get to go on another cruise it will definitely back on queen mary ,wishing you wonderful time, bon voyage Alice
