portable oxygen concentrators
Hi to tonygeorge, I had a similar problem when I got an Inogen One G2 a few years ago, I asked Air Liquide for a spare battery for the same reason, they told to contact my Respiratory Nurse and ask for one, the nurse said they didn’t normally give them out, so I bought a larger myself, eventually I got a second battery off the NHS, but the smaller batteries are next to useless when you’re on oxygen 24/7 like I was at the time.
I finally got my POC updated just before last Christmas to the Inogen One G5 and I was pleasantly surprised to get the larger battery supplied with it.
Ian.
If you are in a car charge it as you go and come back then you can have the 4 hours solid when you are out and about. Understand the difficulty if not going places in a car.
I have a Respironics SimplyGo Mini POC which came with a house charger, car charger and the larger battery. I can go 4 hours without charging at 3L. I got the backpack for it as it gets very heavy after a while. It does get hot on your back though. I'm thinking of getting a rolling travel case for it.
