Blood groups and transplants.

Another thing to worry about this morning.

Doc has told me as i am O negative it reduces the opportunity of securing a pair of lungs quite considerably.

Apparently i can only receive from fellow O negs which represent 8% of all blood types.

What he has suggested though is accelerating the process which should give me a better chance.

WHY DID GOD MAKE US SO COMPLICATED?

Oh sorry, though. My Dr.of Anatomy, Darwinist daughter would say, it's just the way we've evolved. Some bits good, some bad, some now unessecary. Like our hips are now mostly to small to get our Larger Babies through. In the Stone -age our Babies wouldn't have weighed more than 5lbs! But, we wouldn't have lived beyond 35 then. 8% is still a lot of People. Especially, now we're all donating our bits. Try to think positive, I know, it must be hard. My best thoughts are with you.

I'm O negative too. Universal donor blood group. Not so good with transplant chance though. I wish you well and all best of luck with this.
