Open fire!!!

I had to leave my open fire when I moved house coming on four years ago. I miss it dreadfully particularly this time of the year. No chestnuts on a shovel , so they made me cough, a small price to pay! I use 02 so rather impractical anyway. Best wishes Oll an gwella as we say

Coal and log fires are lovely but my lungs cant cope with either of them now. It's a shame.

Me too. Miss sitting gazing into the flames.

We had both a gas log burner and a gas coal burner fitted (in sperate rooms !!) for those very reasons - now we have the best of all worlds - look so real but no dust or smoke, well worth the investment

Spent a fortune on a log burner 7 years ago got diagnosed soon after the fitting with bronc so it has never been used! Just put Christmas lights in it now. Such a shame.
