I have a question or maybe more.I have been on suplemental oxygen for a week now and seem to be ok. However I woke this morning feeling awful. Huge headache and feeling slightly nauseous and very weak..which is not me if I can get up then I do and keep busy..but not today....I am wondering if I didn't get enough o ygen in the night..I am on 2 litres per min. OR could it be carbon dioxide overload
.I sleep sitting up but I may have ended up in foetal position
I don't really know what I am asking. I have lung cancer and copd..plus a lot of other things.
Any suggestions would help...I can't get to my doctor as I Iiv e in Spain and all lung doctors seem to be caught up with covid 19.
Thank you

How are you breathing your oxygen - through a cannula or a face mask? I need a bedside controller - usually used for sleep apnea -and a face mask to avoid retaining CO2 in my blood. Have a word with your GP or hospitality SA dept. Might be relevant
I have a cannula. Have a good night and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx
If you are unable to speak to your consulting doctor who prescribed the oxygen to you perhaps contact your oxygen supplier. Does spain have a Lung foundation helpline? Yes something here:
You can email BLF helpline as another option but that could take 2+ days better if you make contact with an organisation in the country you are residing about this situation.
In my experience it is CO2 overload. I’m on 1ltr over night and sometimes wake up with a mild headache or fuzzy head. If it continues you need to speak to your nurse or doctor in my opinion
