Mobility car scheme and PIP appeal in Tribunal second week February 2021

Hi everyone

I do hope that the fact day light has started to build up cheers us up a little. It does work for me😊

Original PIP claim I made with great handout of CAB was in December 2019. Ever since, it was obvious to me DWP teams up with some health practitioners, who quota the fail. Okay, fair enough! Although, feeling determined I have set out my points to get across to the Tribunal Judge. Having said that, I feel the urge in asking wherever possible, if someone has had the experience in giving good reasons as to why they also should be entitled to a mobility car?

At this point, I work really hard to get a Welfare Rights officer to help out at the telephone hearing on 9th Fev 2021.

In the meantime, any advice would be much appreciated.

Pip dosent give you a mobility car. It just gives you enough money to hire a car from motability. You have to get the higher amount to be eligible to get a car from motability. So the social (Pip) dosent decide if you need a car just if you need the higher rate mobility. You just have to tell them how your illness effects your every day life. Including any lack of mobility and limit to how far you can walk unaided without pain and or discomfort good luck
