Suplemetal oxygen

I have recently 4 days been put on home oxygen. litres. I am managing quite well at the moment but am having a problem with " itchy nose" it is driving me potty ( such a silly complaint) I can't use vaseline with the oxygen and don't know what to do Any of you clever folk have an answer.And I do apologise for the silliness of this question when so many have terrible problems. Thank you

Hi Ragrug, I hear your frustration, I was put on oxygen 24/7 three and a half years ago, fortunately for the for past year I now only use ambulatory oxygen and oxygen and BiPAP at bedtime, you could try this: hope2sleep.co.uk/cann-ease-...

I use this company for my BiPAP masks and accessories, they are are a very good company, they are also a charity, you might also suffer with the cannula rubbing your ears, but your oxygen supplier should be able to supply you with foam tubing which stops this.

Hi Ragrug, I’m in the U.S. and use Ayr brand saline nasal gel . I am sure in the UK , your chemist can recommend a similar saline-based nasal gel for you. Best Wishes, judg69

I find that using KY Jelly is very helpful it is what I use
