Hi everyone I am new to this group as I normally post on the CKD group as I suffer with that problem also. But I got in contact with my doctor as every time I had anything to eat I was feeling sick. This has been going on for about 5 weeks so he has done my bloods urgently everything came back normal except my iron levels. I also had a urgent X-ray on Tuesday and after the X-ray the person who done it said the doctor would have my results the next day. An hour after I got home my mobile rang and it was my doctor saying he wanted to discuss the results of the X-ray. He said I have a lot of fatty tissue around one of my lungs and 2 very enlarged veins has anyone else had this? Or got any information for me please.

Welcome to this group. It is very friendly and supportive. Iโ€™m afraid I have no idea what your x-ray shows. I hope others can shed some light on it.Happy New Year

Welcome to you Minne. You may need to speak to your doctor and ask for more detailed information or ask to be referred to someone who can help. I hope you get some answers very soon and things improve for you. Xxxx

Hi and very welcome to the group. I am too a new comer in this and it already felt like an extended lungies family ๐Ÿ˜ŠHappy prosperous New 2021 to you and everyone!

Re:worries. Could you possibly ask your GP for a referral to a respiratory /pulmonary nurse for assessment? Plus once, BLF helpline reopened for advice (on 4th or 5th Jan 2021) you may benefit from requesting a call back from one of the clinical team?

Keep us posted please.

Be well. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you so much for your reply my doctor is referring me to a specialist as a urgent case for a different sort of scan he said it might be the one where they inject you with a dye but last time they sent me to have that one done they refused to do it because off my kidneys. As the dye can damage the kidneys so I donโ€™t know what sort they will do. But I will keep you updated. Stay safe โ˜บ๏ธ

Hello and welcome. I think maybe the BLF help line might be the place to ask. Untill you can get more info from your GP. Take care

Perhaps make a list of questions before you speak to any one. Itโ€™s hard to remember everything when youโ€™re worried / upset. Take care

I would like to say thank to everyone who had took their time out to read my post. After I asked that question I realized it was silly as I doubt that any one of you are lung experts. My doctor is referring me to a specialist urgently, so I donโ€™t know when that will be ๐Ÿ™„ I will keep you updated happy new year everyone.

Hello and welcome, I have been with this group for a couple of months now and everyone is so nice and sympathetic and helpful, It has kept me sane being able to chat to others with similar health issues. Hopefully some of the other contributors may have some advice to help you. Hope things do improve for you and that 2021 will get better for all of us.

Hi Minnie, it was interesting to read your post ad I too have ckd...although my eGFR is still 33 so not reached stage 4 yet. However, I too have been getting really bad nausea for about 5/6 weeks now which Iโ€™d assumed is a kidney thing. My bloods came back basically ok too other than iron levels.

Iโ€™m sorry to hear about the X-ray results. I donโ€™t know anything about this, but hope that when you get your scan done it will make things clearer. Ask your doctor all the questions you want and no question is silly! Donโ€™t be afraid to ask about anything you donโ€™t understand! Take care!!!

Hi everyone I got to the bottom of my results and I found out that I have a large gallstone stuck at the top off my gallbladder, and they also put me on the urgent list to have it removed but the surgeon called me and said he wonโ€™t remove at the moment as I am having no pain, just nausea and that it would be too dangerous for me to go in hospital at the moment. I agreed. Also he is going to arrange another scan on Bile duct as that area is very inflamed ๐Ÿ˜ณ take care everyone x
