I love it when the sky is clear here, (which is unfortunately not often), because there's no light pollution so I can see all the stars and the moon too of course.

HH your skies are brilliant when clear. I remember many years ago I spent my holidays sailing in the Hebrides . Darkness all around but everywhere sparkled with lights from all the stars in the skies and the phosphorescence in the sea. The Russians sent a rocket to the moon , the very first one, and it released a cloud of gas that was visible from earth . We could see that and we also had a telescope to see more. It was incredible.
