On the 18th, their last live stream, they said that their next one would take place on Friday 8th January. It seems like events have have taken an important turn and their next live stream has been brought forward to tomorrow, 30th December, which will take place at the normal time of 1:30 pm. I will post a link to it tomorrow.

But people are not obeying the rules . They were frightened enough to obey at first but not now. Still families visiting friends today.

Agreed, tier 4 here and the usual suspects in two flats in our block of 11 are mixing with other families. The rules do not seem to apply to them anymore than in the first lockdown.

Another is a single mother, I know single parents are allowed to form a support bubble but what happens to her three young children if she goes into hospital with Covid? I expect Social Services are under a big strain as well.

I'm in tier 3 and have shielded throughout , my daughter lives with us and is strict with sanitising and staying safe. Our youngest grandson came home from university and stayed over Christmas. He wore a mask when in the room with us. On Christmas day his older brother joined us for dinner. Our neighbors throughout the lockdowns and restrictions have carried on as if life was normal. They have continuously had a host of visitors ,even having s party complete with marquee in the garden and portaloo. This despite the fact she works for the NHS.
