Hi, my life changed 13 years ago when I woke up one morning & felt like a Samurai wrestler was sitting on my chest. My Metamorphosis began! Today I feel like my persona is living in another body; like a bird in a cage with severely clipped wings.; constantly pulling in the reigns on things I'd like to do! My big plus is that I have maintained my sense of humour for the most part. Life's challenges!?!? ...... I really miss the old me though ......

Welcome Sipolilo

Lots of lifestyle changes and readjustments throughout the transformation :)

The body may deteriorate but the spirit becomes stronger and continues on.

Enjoy the Community.

Yes I can relate to all that Sipolilo . I have missed my old life more recently. Especially when I see all my neighbours leading their lives with minor adjustments because of Covid, whereas I"m still more or less shielding. Ps Love the image!

Hi there, txs for your message. Yeah ... COVID hasn't changed my life too much in so far as not being as mobile and capable as I was. However with people wearing masks and washing hands etc, it has certainly kept the annual flu virus in check. I'm loving that part of it as I am a bit OCD with germs etc ( if we had an emoji option I'd have a bunch of laughing faces xx) I guess for every minus there is a plus. Take care for the now . Wendy

Hi Irene. Many thanks for the welcome! Who sang "Always look on the Bright side of Life" ... often have that tune tripping through my mind ... also reminds me of my parents. What part of the planet are you on? Take care for the now. Wendy

Hi Wendy, my mum was the eternal optomist and loved life, so always looked on the bright side of life, think this was from Life of Brian, Monty Python. I am from Manchester x

Hi Irene ... yes you're right. Was Monty Python theme and written by Eric Idle ( thank you Google) I am from Zimbabwe but used to live not to far from you in a lovely little village Audley, outside of Stoke past Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Loved it there and miss it very much. Wx

Welcome to the forum. Is one allowed to rage occasionally about not being able to do all the things one used to do? Better to laugh most of the time. Alb xx

Hectic to say the least. I had started being breathless about 2 years prior ... thought I was unfit. Started walking 2km every week day on the beach and snorkeling on weekends to expand my lung capacity and regulate my breathing. Stupid me ... I should have taken myself to a Dr then. Having said that ... Information Technology was not as it is today ... these days I research any little question that crosses my mind .. not only health issues .. but anything and everything. IT is great .. luvit .. window to the world. Take care Ciao Ciao
