Dr Zubaida Haque made a very good point over self isolation. The Gov have shot themselves in the foot with the £10,000 fine. If someone refuses to self isolate then they need to have a test first to be fined, so they just refuse to be tested, if they have been a close contact they refuse to answer any 0300 number.

Lets face it as things stand, if they are young they will not get very ill, the Gov keep on about that, not a secret. If they do get ill and need to go to hospital, the hospital will not refuse treatment.

If they are in a direst of financial positions and cannot afford to self isolate they are able to get away with not self isolating, very easily. They can only be fined if they are told to do so by the NHS. No contact, no fine.

As always, this has not been thought through properly, when will they learn to do so.
